#GAME RANGER AGE OF EMPIRES STEAM FULL#
Create your own full campaigns in the campaign/mission editor. Massive time line and variety of fighting units and unique civilizations across five ages: Middle Ages (950 AD - 1300 AD), Gunpowder (1300 AD - 1600 AD), Imperial (1600 AD - 1900 AD), World War I (1914 AD - 1935 AD), World War II (1935 AD - 1945 AD).ĭeep campaigns contribute to a weeks of high replay value. Lead 7 civilizations fight 3 campaigns conquer epic maps in historical battles throughout history. I find this very strange considering Voobly must know that they offer the best platform, and yet they seem so intimidated by anything that isn’t Voobly. From Middle Ages through World War II, Command battles with an amazing array of historic troops and abilities - over land, sea, and air. Yet Voobly seems to see this as a war, either you’re with them or against them and you can’t possibly be in the middle.

A community, by the community and for the community should acknowledge and embrace all areas of it. For such a community driven project from a team of volunteers, it seems strange that any mention of gameranger or any discussion about HD would have resulted in censorship. I never have and never will understand the tactics that they have used, trying to censor any mention of competition on their platform. Voobly has always appeared scared of competition from HD or DE, as though they need to protect themselves and do whatever possible to preserve their project. Ive personally tried to stay neutral for a long time but this was never okay for Elusive who personally messaged me back in the day asking me to never stream HD while online on Voobly. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the many bad experiences with Voobly over the years, yet I would still recommend it as the most feature complete place to play AoE2. So what is the future of Voobly when Elusive is afk and the people that could help aren’t allowed? All of these things have been created without Voobly, yet apparently none of these people could be trusted to help work on Voobly to make the platform better. Meanwhile, the Siege Engineers group have created stats websites, we have captains mode, we have mapdatabases and so much more. Meanwhile, Capture Age team formed and created the best spectator tool in the history of the game. Meanwhile, Userpatch, which was made entirely independently of Voobly has continually allowed Voobly to improve thanks to the work of scripter. Saying that they tried and failed before. Chris has tried to explain multiple times why Voobly isn’t going to accept outside help from collaborators. As far as I can see there’s a lot of people here who want the best for AoE2, and there are many different opinions on what that might be.īut for me, I don’t see a future in Voobly while Elusive continues to be AFK and Voobly refuse to be more transparent and cooperative with the community. Just because something has done good doesn’t mean that it’s immune to criticism. Voobly has done a lot of good for the community, but they have had problems too, and myself and others have sour tastes in our mouths from our experiences there. In terms of the features offered it has always been ahead of HD and continued to grow since the release of HD. You can not deny that Voobly has provided the best platform for multiplayer AoE2.
